DR Analysis and Opportunity Filtering

Understand how GoSEO displays Domain Rating, backlink quality, topical relevance, and risk signals, and how to use these metrics to filter opportunities.

1

Feature Analysis

DR analysis helps you decide whether a backlink opportunity is worth your time. GoSEO doesn't just look at Domain Rating; it also considers topical relevance, outbound link density, page type, and risk signals to avoid being misled by high-DR but low-quality pages.

2

Detailed Steps

When analyzing, first assess the overall site strength, then check whether the target page itself has real traffic and contextual relevance. Only pages that meet quality, relevance, and contactability are recommended for outreach.

Core Metrics

DR is part of evaluating backlink opportunities, but not the only criterion. GoSEO also displays topical relevance, outbound link density, page type, recent updates, and suspected link network risk.

4

Filtering recommendations

When filtering, first narrow the scope by relevance, then sort by DR and risk signals. Avoid spending budget on sites that are irrelevant or that excessively sell links.

Risk Warning

If a site has a very high DR but the page content is extremely short, the backlink list is disorganized and anchor texts are highly commercialized, it is recommended to lower its priority or exclude it outright.
