WordPress Publishing Configuration

Use WordPress Application Passwords to publish GoSEO-generated articles as WordPress drafts or published posts.

Preparation

Application Passwords are built into WordPress starting with 5.6. GoSEO uses them to call the REST API, so no additional plugins are required.

Connection Steps

First generate an Application Password in the WordPress admin, then return to GoSEO and enter the site URL, username, and password.

Log in to the WordPress admin.

Go to Users -> Profile.

Under Application Passwords, enter GoSEO and generate a password.

Copy the generated password.

Publish status

We recommend leaving the default publish status as Draft. After confirming the layout, links, images, and categories, publish it from the WordPress dashboard.
